I came to psychotherapy after more than a decade working in education and the arts—fields that taught me to sit with complexity, to listen for what isn't being said, and to trust that difficulty often contains meaning worth pursuing.
That same orientation shapes how I work with clients. I'm drawn to the complexity beneath the surface, to the questions that don't resolve easily, and to what it means to live a life that feels genuinely your own.
I have particular experience working with individuals navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, identity questions, creative blocks, and self-esteem. I often work with artists, writers, academics, and students, and welcome anyone drawn to a depth-oriented, exploratory approach—people who sense there's more going on than they can quite name and are ready to look more closely.
I bring warmth, humor, and genuine curiosity to this work. I take your inner life seriously.
I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and a BA in American Studies from Yale University. I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #157328) working under the supervision of Zari Hedayat (MFT #22248).
