I came to psychotherapy after more than a decade working in education and the arts. My work in these fields taught me to sit with complexity, to listen closely to what’s being communicated but perhaps not said, and to trust there is something meaningful in even our most difficult moments.
That same orientation shapes how I work with clients. I'm drawn to the complexity beneath the surface, to the questions that don't resolve easily, and to what it means to live a life that feels genuinely your own.
I have particular experience working with individuals navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, identity questions, creative blocks, and self-esteem. I often work with artists, writers, and students, and welcome anyone drawn to a depth-oriented, exploratory approach, people who sense there's more going on than they can name and are ready to look more closely.
I bring warmth, humor, and genuine curiosity to this work. I take your inner life seriously.
I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #157328) working under the supervision of Zari Hedayat (MFT #22248).
